Eco Fashion World Admission Criteria

EFW’S mission is to show people, green-minded or not, that sustainable fashion is just as diverse, stylish and accessible as non-sustainable fashion. Our goal is to show that eco fashion is sexy, modern, edgy, fun NOT plain, homogenous, moralizing

Below are the criteria we’ve determined to select admission into the Guide. Not sure if you qualify? Send us an email (info@ecofashionworld.com) to check. The criteria are not set in stone, they only apply for the Guide and for the time being. See at the bottom how you can be involved with EFW even if you cannot be in our Guide just yet!

ADMISSION CRITERIA

• BRANDS: your product has to be available for purchase, either online or in a store
• BRANDS/STORES: you must have a sizeable number of items for sale (special note for designers/brands on Etsy and other stores of its kind: we are big fans and supporters of handmade products but, for the time being, we have to restrict the number of Etsy brands/stores in the guide, send us an email to see if you qualify)
• BRANDS/STORES: your products must have an added DESIGN value (we will limit the number of brands and stores offering very plain basics and message t-shirts in the Guide.)
• BRANDS/STORES: your website must be visually and graphically appealing
• BRANDS/STORES: last but not least, our website specializes in eco fashion, our guide only includes fashion brands and stores (no beauty or other green products and/or services) that meet at least one of the eco criteria on our list

GETTING INVOLVED WITH EFW IF YOU DON’T QUALIFY FOR THE GUIDE

We admire, respect and want to encourage all entrepreneurs who are on the eco fashion path!

If you don’t qualify for the guide just yet (we are still a small company, as we grow and evolve, we want to find a way of including more brands) you can still be involved with our website by:

• Sending us your news and press releases, we are always on the lookout for good stories for the News and Mag! If we use your story idea, we may link to your website.
• If you would still like to swap links, please email us here.
• Advertizing your brand on EFW, your advertisement will be seen by hundreds of people every day who are already interested in buying eco fashion! Contact advertising@ecofashionworld.com to learn more.
